Our Strategy to protect plants form drought stress
The high summer temperatures, wind and solar radiation increase transpiration beyond the absorption capacity of the roots.
First occurs a progressive wilting, dehydration of the cells and oxidation of the compounds present in the vacuoles which cause browning up to the possible appearance of burns.
A good strategy may be to confer tolerance of cellular dehydration.
Our product Scudotherm is an antitranspirant that when is sprayed on vegetation it self-crosslink and form a semipermeable membrane that regulates the water exchanges.
The membrane formed by Scudotherm limits the exit of water, electrolytes and other solutes, and therefore reduces the propagation of burns phenomena.
